Welmerink Law, P.C., a boutique estate planning law firm, is expanding and looking to hire an Administrative Assistant. The firm is looking for an energetic, creative, detail-oriented, and organized individual who is able to adapt to change and growth. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to suggest improvements for procedures and systems to improve efficiency and provide a high-class client experience.
The duties would include, but are not limited to:
- Answering the phone and interacting with clients
- Scheduling appointments
- Collecting and sorting correspondence
- Calendaring and tracking deadlines
- Printing, organizing, and scanning client portfolios
- Preparing and sending letters and emails, and tracking mail delivery
The position will likely start as part-time (20-30 hours per week) and has the possibility of moving to full-time for the right candidate. Compensation is negotiable based upon experience and is subject to review after 90 days.
Any applicant must be a positive and professional person who is able to confidently talk to clients, attorneys, and other professionals. Proficiency and comfort with technology, and a willingness to learn new technology, is paramount. This will require a basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience using Clio Practice Management and/or WealthDocx is preferred. Applicants must have, or be willing and qualified to obtain, a Notary license.
